Artistic Achievements : Participated in Theatre Festival Organized by AITA held in Japan (Toyama) in Aug. 1989 as production incharge. Received state color in folk dances (Represented Punjab State on Republic day January 26, 1969).
Have performed in many full length plays and directed above than two dozen plays. The plays have been highly appreciated by both audiences and then press for their artistic performance and social values. Acted in Movies, Tele films and T.V. serials. Our play "Deewaren" based on the story of Pakistani writer Fehmida Riaz, written by Kirpal Kazak and directed by Parminder Pal Kaur had done very successful shows in Patiala & Chandigarh. Play "Kaddon Takk" on the plight of rape victim written by Kirpal Kazak and directed ny Parminder Pal Kaur has given.
Awareded best director and best actor by Punjabi Academy New Delhi. Kapoor Singh Ghuman Yadgari Award-Actor the year. Service above self award by Rotary International and honoured by different organization for cultural activities. Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. Had then honor having Audience with Honourable President of India, Prime Minister of India & governor Punjab.
For any woman who wants to achieve something in life, my only advice to her would be to live up for her dreams and do not ever let any misery or financial crisis to disuade her from pursuing her goals. I have fought for woman's rights, against sexual harassment and injustices towards women all my life and let me tell the readers that there's nothing that can ever let you down unless you yourself don't believe in yourself.
Do not waste much time on enhancing external beauty. My idea of a woman's beauty is intelligence and confidence. My role model has always been my mother Sukhwant Kaur, who is a very strong and bold woman. She has been my support and ideal."
